If it’s Thursday, it’s Game Night in Teen Central! Teens in grades 7 - 12 may join us for video games, board games, collectible card games, Minecraft, and more. We’ll also be rolling dice and playing Dungeons & Dragons on the first Thursday of every month.
Tweens can explore their techie interests at Tween Tech Night. The first 30 minutes are guided instruction, and the rest of the time tweens can explore different technologies and coding in both digital and analog ways. Drop in at any time during posted hours. For children ages 9 — 12.
Learn the basics of formatting, editing, printing, and saving. Prerequisite: comfortable with a mouse and some typing. Held in the Garfield Room. Each participant should bring a copy of a short story, book chapter, poem, play, or any form of creative writing that they created and would like to share. Please limit to 5 pages. After each reading, the group will offer gentle feedback on the piece. Toddlers' natural curiosity will be engaged during this weekly program of stories, music, and hands-on activities. For toddlers ages 19 — 35 months with a parent or caregiver.

Come get some tips and suggestions on how to make the transition to senior living much smoother. Presented by Lauren Flauto from Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Services, Inc. This event will be held in the Warren Library's Harding Room.
Children gain confidence and improve their reading skills as they read to an uncritical and tail-wagging audience. Children in grades 1 — 6 may sign up for 15-minute sessions to read aloud to a registered therapy dog from PAWS Therapy Team. Registration is required; call (330) 399-8807 ext. 206. Free!
Need some help learning how to do something on a computer, tablet, or smart phone? You can book a 30-minute session with a library staff member who will answer your questions and walk you through what you'd like to do. Examples include learning how to move files to a flash drive, save photos in the cloud, or navigate a new phone. Appointments will be held in either the Classroom or the Public Computer Lab on the library's 2nd floor.
