The Mobile Library Services Department provides delivery of library materials by mail to eligible individuals. The Library-By-Mail Service is free of charge.
This service is available throughout most of Trumbull County. However, residents of Bristolville, Girard, Hubbard, and Kinsman should contact their local library for availability in those areas.
Materials available include: books; large print books (14-point font or larger); large print editions of Reader’s Digest and Guideposts; audiobooks on CD; music CDs; and movie/documentary DVDs.
Library staff can send 2 books at a time. Patrons may request specific titles, or library staff will choose materials based on the patron’s preferences.
Library-By-Mail Service is available year-round by mail to those who qualify. To inquire about eligibility for the Library-By Mail program, call the Mobile Library Services Department at: (330) 399-8807 ext. 207.

The National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, through the Library of Congress, offers a free program for individuals of all ages who have a disability that prevents them from reading regular print.
Individuals in Trumbull County who are visually limited have the opportunity to participate in the free Talking Books program through the Library of Congress National Library for the Blind and Print Disabled. Qualified individuals will be supplied with a special Talking Book machine that plays “books” and “magazines.” Materials are sent directly in the mail to clients from the Ohio Library for the Blind and Physically Disabled. Library staff can provide customers with an application for this free service.
