Please limit to 5 pages. After each reading, the group will offer gentle feedback on the piece. Empowered, Brilliant & Brave: Great Women of Black History: This special Black History Month event for children and adults of all ages will feature a performance by Bright Star Touring Theatre. 'Meet' some of Black History’s most inspiring female figures in this show that highlights some of the world’s most amazing women. Crunch some hidden figures with Dorothy Vaughan. Follow along the Underground Railroad with Harriet Tubman. Celebrate the Jazz Age with Ella Fitzgerald. Plus ‘meet’ many more incredible female groundbreakers from Black history!
