Family Hour Special Event Celebrating Black History Month @ the Warren Library

Gather the whole family around for some quality time at the library! We’ll share stories, activities, and, occasionally, a visit from a special guest. For families with children ages 3 and older.

Empowered, Brilliant & Brave: Great Women of Black History: This special Black History Month event for children and adults of all ages will feature a performance by Bright Star Touring Theatre. ‘Meet’ some of Black History’s most inspiring female figures in this show that highlights some of the world’s most amazing women. Crunch some hidden figures with Dorothy Vaughan. Follow along the Underground Railroad with Harriet Tubman. Celebrate the Jazz Age with Ella Fitzgerald. Plus ‘meet’ many more incredible female groundbreakers from Black history!
