Summer Challenge
June 2 – July 26, 2025
Embark on a journey of creativity this summer!
Children, teens, and adults can all participate in the library’s FREE Summer Challenge at W-TCPL locations, on the Bookmobile, and through Beanstack, our convenient online option.
About the Challenge
All ages can participate in the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s free “Color Our World” Summer Challenge! Complete a variety of entertaining and enriching activities to earn points and have the chance to win prizes!
Activities are grouped in four categories: Composer, Director, Illustrator, and Writer. You can choose to “Design a book cover” or “Create a playlist” or “Snap a picture of your favorite book” or “Read for 20 minutes” – or lots more!
Each activity is worth 5 points, and you can explore them all or repeat your favorites!
How To Participate:
Children, teens, and adults all have two options that make it easy to participate in the Summer Challenge: Track your reading and activities on a paper log or online through Beanstack.
1. Participate Online through Beanstack
Beanstack offers a convenient option for participating in the Summer Challenge online. It is free to create a personal account in Beanstack to record reading activities, track progress, and even earn digital badges along the way.
When you register for the Summer Challenge through Beanstack, you are automatically entered in the weekly themed prize drawings. Beanstack offers lots of options for fun activities as you progress through the Challenge levels. Once you reach 100 Points, you’ve successfully completed the Summer Challenge!
Children who have completed all the online Summer Challenge levels and earned their Completion Badge in Beanstack can visit the library or the Bookmobile to receive their prizes!
Teens and adults who complete the Summer Challenge in Beanstack will automatically be entered in the Grand Prize drawings!
Simply visit WTCPL.BEANSTACK.ORG to get started or download the free Beanstack Tracker app.
