Summer Challenge

May 26 – July 25, 2026

Unearth YOUR Story this summer!

Children, teens, and adults can all participate in the library’s FREE Summer Challenge at W-TCPL locations, on the Bookmobile, and through Beanstack, our convenient online option.

About the Challenge

All ages can participate in the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s free Summer Challenge!

Complete a variety of entertaining and enriching activities to earn points and have the chance to win prizes! Activities are grouped into four categories: Create, Discover, Explore, and Read.  You can choose to “Have a picnic” or “Create a playlist” or “Watch a documentary” or “Read for 20 minutes” – or lots more!

Each activity is worth 5 Points, and you can explore them all or repeat your favorites!

Once you reach 100 Points, you’ve completed the Challenge!

How To Participate:

Children, teens, and adults all have two options that make it easy to participate in the Summer Challenge: Track your reading and activities on a paper log or online through Beanstack.

1. Participate Online through Beanstack

Beanstack offers a convenient option for participating in the Summer Challenge online. It is free to create a personal account in Beanstack to record reading activities, track progress, and even earn digital badges along the way.

Beanstack offers lots of options for fun activities as you progress through the Challenge. As you track your activities online in Beanstack, you can then visit a W-TCPL location or the Bookmobile to pick up prizes. Once you reach 100 Points, you’ve successfully completed the Summer Challenge!

Those who complete the Summer Challenge in Beanstack will automatically be entered in the Grand Prize drawings!

Simply visit WTCPL.BEANSTACK.ORG to get started or download the free Beanstack Tracker app.

2. Participate on Paper with a Printed Summer Challenge Log

To participate using a Summer Challenge paper log, simply stop by a W-TCPL location or visit the Bookmobile to register and receive a log.

Enjoy reading, exploring, creating, or discovering nature as you complete any of the fun activities listed on the back of the log.

Color in a 5-Point circle for each activity you complete. Once you reach 100 Points, you’ve successfully completed the Summer Challenge!

Bring your completed log back to the library or the Bookmobile when you reach 50 Points and again when you reach 100 Points; you can receive your prize and will be entered in the Grand Prize drawings!
