Children learn through play. Have some fun and build young brains at our open play hours. We will provide a variety of playful learning experiences through toys, games, and other activity stations. Drop in anytime during posted hours. For children ages 19 months — 5 years with a caregiver. Free.
Cute, cuddly, and non-intimidating bunnies are perfect listeners! Children in grades 1 — 6 can sign up to read aloud to registered and certified Bunnies in Baskets (therapy rabbits) for 15-minute sessions. Rabbits are provided by F5RS (Frisky Ferrets, Fuzzies and Feathered Friends Rescue and Sanctuary). Registration is required; call (330) 399-8807 ext. 206 to sign up. Free.

You can book a 30-minute session with a library staff member who will answer your questions and walk you through what you'd like to do. Appointments will be held in either the Classroom or the Public Computer Lab on the library's 2nd floor.

New culinary adventures await teens in grades 7-12! Join us for a game of Will It Waffle? in March, a variety of sandwiches for National Grilled Cheese Month in April, and our annual hot sauce challenge in May. Free.
Whether you are new to using a computer mouse and keyboard, or just need a refresher, come join us for an introduction to these essential tools and how to use them. Class will end with time to practice at your own pace. No prior computer experience is required. To register, call the Public Computer Lab at (330) 399-8807 ext. 201. If it’s Thursday, it’s Game Night in Teen Central! Teens in grades 7 - 12 may join us for video games, board games, collectible card games, Minecraft, and more. We’ll also be rolling dice and playing Dungeons & Dragons on the first Thursday of every month.
Tweens can explore their techie interests at Tween Tech Night. The first 30 minutes are guided instruction, and the rest of the time tweens can explore different technologies and coding in both digital and analog ways. Drop in at any time during posted hours. For children ages 9 — 12.
