Children learn through play. Have some fun and build young brains at our open play hours. We will provide a variety of playful learning experiences through toys, games, and other activity stations. Drop in anytime during posted hours. For children ages 19 months — 5 years with a caregiver.
Preschool Storytime features stories, songs, and movement activities and reinforces the development of early literacy skills. For children ages 3 — 5.
Learn the basics of formatting, editing, printing, and saving. Prerequisite: comfortable with a mouse and some typing. Class will be held in the Classroom (Room 215) on the Warren Library's 2nd floor. Registration is required; call the Public Computer Lab at (330) 399-8807 ext. 201 to sign up. Free!
Bring the family for kids crafts and listen to music provided by guitarist Tyler Guerrieri and vocalist Nick Kerpsack. Santa will visit, and cookies and punch will be served. This program is provided by support from the Friends of the Cortland Library.
Tweens can explore their techie interests at Tween Tech Night. The first 30 minutes are guided instruction, and the rest of the time tweens can explore different technologies and coding in both digital and analog ways. Drop in at any time during posted hours. For children ages 9 — 12.
If it’s Thursday, it’s Game Night in Teen Central! Teens in grades 7 - 12 may join us for video games, board games, collectible card games, Minecraft, and more. We’ll also be rolling dice and playing Dungeons & Dragons on the first Thursday of every month.
