“Unearth A Story” During the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s Summer Challenge

(05/15/2026) – The community is invited to dig into some legendary adventures this summer with the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s free “Unearth A Story” Summer Challenge.

Beginning May 26 and continuing through July 25, the 2026 Summer Challenge offers an opportunity for all ages to engage in fun activities for the chance to win prizes. Free events featuring topics related to dinosaurs, archaeology, and history will also be offered throughout the summer as part of the “Unearth A Story” Summer Challenge theme.

Summer Challenge participants can choose from a variety of activities designed to encourage reading, creativity, and community exploration. Each activity is worth five points, and the Challenge is complete once 100 points are achieved. The Summer Challenge includes a selection of prizes for children, teens, and adults.

Little ones have a library summer program just for them. The Owlet Club is specially for babies and toddlers up to age 3. Parents and caregivers can share literacy-based activities with their little one to receive a new board book to keep.

Two convenient options make it easy to participate in the Summer Challenge. A free account can be created online through the Beanstack platform at WTCPL.BEANSTACK.ORG or the Beanstack Tracker app. To log reading and activities on paper, a Summer Challenge or Owlet Club paper log can be picked up at any Warren-Trumbull County Public Library location or the Bookmobile.

A calendar of summer events is available at any Warren-Trumbull County Public Library location or on the library website at www.wtcpl.org.

The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library system includes libraries in Brookfield, Cortland, Eastwood Mall, Howland, Liberty, and Warren; a Bookmobile; Pop-Up Library; Library-By-Mail service; and a 24/7 website at www.wtcpl.org.
