3D Printing – in the Maker Studio at the Warren Library

Printer: Prusa i3 MK3S+

3D printing is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a digital model.

The Maker Studio has a Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer.

Our printer uses PLA filament. You can download model files from popular 3D communities such as Thingiverse and Printables or you can create a model yourself with free programs like Tinkercad and SketchUp.

The cost to print a 3D model is $0.25 per 15 minutes of printing, with a maximum print time of 10 hours per print.

Acceptable Materials: PLA

May I Bring My Own Materials? No, the library will supply the PLA filament for printing.

Project Ideas: Figurines, models, replacements parts, custom tools, and more!
