Warren-Trumbull County Public Library helps bring new StoryWalk to Warren

(11/17/2023) – The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, United Way of Trumbull County, and the City of Warren have partnered to bring a StoryWalk to Perkins Park in Warren.

A StoryWalk is an excellent outdoor family activity that combines movement with reading. The Perkins Park StoryWalk starts at the end of the United Way Born Learning Trail, near the playground, and runs along the walking trail next to the river. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.

New stories will be shared quarterly in the StoryWalk. Visit the StoryWalk this fall to read “Bear Can’t Sleep” by Karma Wilson. The featured book is also available to borrow from the library.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
