Warren-Trumbull County Public Library accounts get an extra layer of security with PINs

(02/20/2024) – Warren-Trumbull County Public Library cardholder accounts now have an added layer of security with the implementation of Personal Identification Numbers (PINs).

A library cardholder can check their patron record, place a title on hold, and create personal reading lists when they are logged in to their online account. This log-in process will now have an additional protective step with the use of PINs.

The Library Account Log-In screen will prompt the cardholder to create an individual 4-digit numeric PIN to access their online account. This PIN, along with the cardholder’s name and library barcode number, will then be entered each time the cardholder would like to access their library account to place an item on hold or check their record.

The PIN may also be used to access other digital library resources that may require it through the library website or app.

Library cardholders may contact any Warren-Trumbull County Public Library location during business hours for more information or for assistance creating a PIN.

For information about signing up for a free library card, visit www.WTCPL.org.

The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library includes libraries in Brookfield, Cortland, Howland, Liberty, Lordstown, and Warren; a Bookmobile; and Library-By-Mail service.
