Warren Library to Host Candy Land Lane during Hometown Holidays

(12/02/2024) – Families with young children can learn and play at an indoor Candy Land Lane learning event on Sat., Dec. 14, between 4 – 6:30 p.m. at the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.

Children ages 6 and younger and their grownups can enjoy fun holiday themed activities and crafts and also learn about community resources for families with young children. All children ages 6 and younger who attend will receive a free Early Learning Kit while supplies last.

Admission for Candy Land Lane is free, and no registration is necessary.

The children’s and teen departments in the Warren Library will close between 3 – 4 p.m. on Dec. 14 for event setup, and the Warren Library will close at 5 p.m. for regular business.

The Candy Land Lane event is part of Warren’s Hometown Holidays and is sponsored by: Alta Care Group; Early Childhood Resource Center; Fairhaven School; Ohio Early Intervention; PNC; Potential Development; PsyCare; Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities; Trumbull County Children Services; Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board; Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership; United Way of Trumbull County; Warren Kiwanis Club. Additional organizational support is provided by Cadence Care Network, Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority, and Warren City School District.
