Warren Library to Host Candy Land Lane during Hometown Holidays

(12/01/2023) – Families with young children can walk and play at an indoor Candy Land Lane learning event Sat., Dec. 9, between 4 – 6:30 p.m. at the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW.

Children ages 6 and younger and their grownups can enjoy fun holiday themed activities and crafts and also learn about community resources for families with young children. All children ages 6 and younger who attend will receive a free Early Learning Kit while supplies last.

Admission for Candy Land Lane is free, and no registration is necessary.

The children’s and teen departments in the Warren Library will close between 3 – 4 p.m. on Dec. 9 for event setup, and the Warren Library will close as usual at 5 p.m. for regular business.

The Candy Land Lane event is part of Warren’s Hometown Holidays and is in partnership with: Family and Children First Council of Trumbull County; Ohio Early Intervention; Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities; and United Way of Trumbull County; with additional organizational support from: Cadence Care Network; Early Childhood Resource Center; PsyCare; TCAP Head Start; Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board; Trumbull Metropolitan Housing Authority; and Warren City School District.
