Need some help learning how to do something on a computer, tablet, or smart phone? You can book a 30-minute session with a library staff member who will answer your questions and walk you through what you'd like to do. Examples include learning how to move files to a flash drive, save photos in the cloud, or navigate a new phone. At the Warren Library: Call the Public Computer Lab at (330) 399-8807 ext. 201 to reserve your appointment time. Appointments will be held in either the Classroom or the Public Computer Lab on the library's 2nd floor.       

Appointments available Mondays between 5 — 7 p.m.       
Appointments available Saturdays between 1 — 4 p.m.       
Other days/times may be available as needed

Have you taken all of W-TCPL's introductory computer classes? Looking to move to the next level? Join us for a lightly structured workshop where you can bring your questions and collaborate with other learners to improve your skills. An instructor will facilitate and help answer questions. Topics covered may include Windows keyboard shortcuts, specific Microsoft Office projects, and how to learn more on your own. Prerequisites: completion of all Beginning Computer classes and Introduction to Microsoft Office classes, or equivalent experience.

Tweens can explore their techie interests at Tween Tech Night. The first 30 minutes are guided instruction, and the rest of the time tweens can explore different technologies and coding in both digital and analog ways. Drop-in at any time during posted hours. For children ages 9 — 12.

The Great Hopewell Road: Ohio’s Ancient Superhighway @ Warren Library and Online via Zoom

Meets in the Harding Room; and via Zoom. The Great Hopewell Road was a set of parallel earthen walls built by the Hopewell people who lived in Ohio circa A.D. 1- 400, running from the monumental Newark Earthworks southwest in a remarkably straight line. The road’s ultimate destination is a mystery, but it may have been a route of pilgrimage connecting the two grandest centers of the Hopewell world. Presented by Brad Lepper, Senior Archaeologist for the World Heritage
