One Card, Endless Possibilities: Celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month this September

(09/02/2025) – The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library (W-TCPL) joins with the American Library Association and libraries nationwide in celebrating Library Card Sign-Up Month this September. The community is invited to discover the incredible resources and opportunities available at your local library by signing up for a library card.

This year’s theme, “One Card, Endless Possibilities,” is a reminder that libraries are for everyone – no matter your age, background, or goals. Whether you’re exploring into a new hobby, searching for your next great read, brushing up on tech skills, or helping your child succeed in school, it all starts with a library card.

Today’s libraries are vibrant community centers offering much more in addition to books. At the W-TCPL, you’ll find diverse programs, computer and tech classes, storytimes, book clubs, author talks, and more. From borrowing books, eBooks, and audiobooks to streaming movies, a library card helps everyone find more of what they enjoy – all without stretching their budget.

Anyone who lives, works, attends school, or owns property in Ohio is eligible to sign up for a free W-TCPL library card. To sign up for a full-service library card, stop by any W-TCPL location (in Brookfield, Cortland, Eastwood Mall, Howland, Liberty, or Warren) or visit the Bookmobile or Pop-Up Library. Since 1987, Library Card Sign-Up Month has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year.
