Hello and happy summer! I hope everyone is enjoying the season and finding time to read some good books! Since this year’s Summer Reading Program theme is Tails and Tales, I wanted to recommend some books about animals for you in this blog post. There are so many to choose from, including heartwarming stories about pets and fascinating information about wild animals – they would make a great addition to your reading list! Of course, we would be happy to recommend even more books, simply stop in and ask!
For anyone participating in our Summer Reading Program Book Bingo, any of these books would fill in the square for “A book about animals” if you haven’t filled it yet. And if you haven’t started your bingo card, you can still pick one up at any library location, or participate online through WTCPL.READSQUARED.COM. Make sure you return your bingo card by July 31, 2021, to be entered into the prize drawing. Thanks for reading!
