Liberty Library to Celebrate 25 Years Serving the Community

(10/23/2023) – The Liberty Library will mark 25 years of library service in the Liberty community with a celebration from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 2, at the Library.

The Library first opened to the public on Nov. 2, 1998, in a Liberty Plaza storefront offering some 3,500 square feet of space. In 2003, the Library moved into its current 10,000 square-foot building at 415 Churchill-Hubbard Road, where it continues to welcome patrons.

The library contains a broad selection of books, movies, and other materials to borrow; offers year-round educational and entertaining programs for all ages; and provides access to a variety of services including public computers and printing.

The 25th anniversary celebration will feature giveaways, refreshments, and special activities throughout the day.
