Architectural rendering of the Howland Library building project.
Construction is underway on the renovation and expansion project at the Howland Library, marking an exciting new chapter for the library and the community. The project addresses critical infrastructure issues and modernizes the original 1998 building to better meet the evolving needs of the community.
We thank you for your cooperation and patience during this construction project!
The Howland Library will be closed beginning Sept. 8 and continuing throughout the duration of construction. Project completion and library reopening is anticipated in spring 2027.
Please visit another W-TCPL location or a local Bookmobile stop during the library closure. W-TCPL Locations
A “Library Return” bin is accessible outside the library. Warren-Trumbull County Public Library books and other items may be placed in that box for return.
The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s Bookmobile service is free! Library cardholders can check out materials including books, movies, and music; pick up requested items; and return items on the Bookmobile. Everyone is welcome to visit the Bookmobile during its new weekly stops in the Howland community.
