The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library’s annual Family Book Day—a celebration of books and reading—will be held this year from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23 at the Warren Library.

The day will kick off at 11 a.m. with a presentation and book signing by featured speaker Justin A. Reynolds. "Opposite of Always," his debut Young Adult novel, was an Indies Introduce Top Ten Debut, a School Library Journal Best Book, translated into 19 languages, and is being developed for film with Paramount Players. Visit the Books-a-Million (Niles, Ohio) table at Family Book Day to purchase copies of Justin A. Reynolds’ books.

Another featured author is professional storyteller and children’s book author Lindsay Bonilla, who is scheduled for 1 p.m. She will present folktales for all ages. Copies of her newest book, "The Storyteller," will be available for purchase and signing.

Tours of the W-TCPL Bookmobile will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the library’s parking lot.

Crafts, games, and gaming for children and teens will be available between 12 and 4 p.m. Children will be able to meet Clifford the Big Red Dog at 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., made possible by the local PBS station, PBS Western Reserve. There will also be a puppet show at 3 p.m.

New this year will be a Local Author Fair. Invited local authors will have tables set up throughout the library to display their books and talk about the writing process.

Plus, everyone ages 0-18 can receive one free new book to keep.
