Preschool storytime features stories, songs, and movement activities and reinforces the development of early literacy skills. For children ages 3 — 5 with a caregiver.
Children learn through play. Have some fun and build young brains at our open play hours. We will provide a variety of playful learning experiences through toys, games, and other activity stations. Drop in anytime during posted hours. For children ages 19 months — 5 years with a caregiver.
Lively program featuring a story, music, and lots of movement will engage children ages 18 months — 4 years with a parent or caregiver.
Is our traditional preschool storytime not a good fit for you and your child? Caregivers, come engage with your child as we provide a high-energy experience. No chairs are needed for this storytime! Learn the basics of formatting, editing, printing, and saving. Prerequisite: comfortable with a mouse and some typing. Cute, cuddly, and non-intimidating bunnies are perfect listeners! Children in grades 1 — 6 can sign up to read aloud to registered and certified Bunnies in Baskets (therapy rabbits) for 15-minute sessions. 'Meet' some of Black History’s most inspiring female figures in this show that highlights some of the world’s most amazing women. Crunch some hidden figures with Dorothy Vaughan. Follow along the Underground Railroad with Harriet Tubman. Celebrate the Jazz Age with Ella Fitzgerald. Plus ‘meet’ many more incredible female groundbreakers from Black history!
