W-TCPL Deputy Director selected to participate in Library Leadership Ohio 2024
(05/16/2024) – Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Deputy Director Kimberly Garrett has been selected to participate in a statewide library leadership program.
Garrett will join with other library leaders from around the state this July at Library Leadership Ohio 2024 (LLO). The State Library of Ohio and OhioNet announced the cohort of library leaders selected to participate in the program based on outstanding leadership potential, collaborative spirit, and deep commitment to the profession.
“I am deeply honored to have been selected for Library Leadership Ohio, an opportunity that I consider a privilege and a testament to my dedication to the library profession,” Garrett said. “It is a recognition that inspires me to continue striving for excellence in serving our communities.”
Library Leadership Ohio spans nearly 30 years and includes hundreds of alumni in a variety of positions in libraries across Ohio and across the country. With programming focused on personal development and transferable leadership skills, LLO fosters connections and collaboration within Ohio’s diverse library community.
The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library system includes libraries in Brookfield, Cortland, Howland, Liberty, Lordstown, and Warren; a Bookmobile; Library-By-Mail service; Community Outreach Program; and a digital library at www.WTCPL.org.
