Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Celebrates National Library Week

(04/05/2025) – What draws people to the library? Everything! From books and digital resources to computer help and creative programming, libraries are essential to thriving communities.

The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library (W-TCPL) joins with libraries nationwide in celebrating National Library Week, April 6–12, 2025, a time to celebrate the many ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination, and support lifelong learning.

This year’s National Library Week theme of “Drawn to the Library!” invites everyone in the community to visit the library and explore all the library has to offer. Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone. Whether you’re preparing for a career change, launching a business, raising a family, or embracing retirement, the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library is here to support your journey. Libraries serve as hubs for learning, creativity, and connection, helping people of all ages explore new ideas and opportunities.

If you haven’t checked out the W-TCPL lately, stop by for a visit during National Library Week or anytime! The W-TCPL system includes libraries in Brookfield, Cortland, Howland, Liberty, Lordstown, and Warren; a Bookmobile; Library-By-Mail service, and a 24/7 website at www.wtcpl.org.

Award-winning author and illustrator Raina Telgemeier and cartoonist and comic theorist Scott McCloud have been selected Honorary Chairs of National Library Week 2025.

First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries of all types across the country each April.
