Community Can Connect with Local Writers, Discover New Books, and Participate in Poetry Workshop at Warren-Trumbull County Public Library
(10/20/2025) – The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library (W-TCPL) is hosting a local author fair and poetry workshop for the community. Aspiring writers, avid readers, and those simply curious about the creative process of writing can attend an afternoon at the library to celebrate storytelling and creativity.
A Local Author Fair will be held between 12:30 – 3 p.m. Sat., Nov. 8 at the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW., in Warren. Visitors can meet with authors from across Northeast Ohio and browse their selection of works for sale. Works will range from fiction to non-fiction, as well as books for children and teens.
Expected authors include: Dr. Alisha Alls, Terry Armstrong, Chelsea Banning, Jelisa Dallas, Cari Dubiel, Elaine Evans, M.E. Greenfield, Wendy Koile, James Laux, Lori Orr, Victoria Perkins, Karen Schubert, Aileen Stewart, Mark Strecker, Phil Suarez, Mialie T. Szymanski, Jane Ann Turzillo, and Leah D. Williams.
A Poetry Workshop will be held before the fair, from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., on Sat., Nov. 8 at the Warren Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW., in Warren. Poet and Lit Youngstown Director Karen Schubert will lead an interactive workshop on crafting poetry. Registration is required and is limited for the free workshop.
