“Breaking Through the Lines: The Marion Motley Story” @ Warren Library

Marion Motley was one of the gridiron’s most outstanding players for the Cleveland Browns. He was one of four Black players to reintegrate pro football in 1946, helping Black athletes in professional sports including baseball’s Jackie Robinson.
Guest speaker David Lee Morgan, Jr., will share stories from his new book Breaking Through the Lines: The Marion Motley Story, and from coproducing the acclaimed PBS documentary Lines Broken: The Story of Marion Motley.
